If you have a few moments, please consider joining the ongoing, confidential, informal Surveys I'm conducting for my forthcoming book:

 “You Are So Smart!”

The Parents’ Guide to Teaching Kids with Asperger Syndrome the 100 (or So)

Essential Real-World Skills No One Else Can

Are you confused, baffled, frustrated, or surprised when your kid with Asperger Syndrome continues to struggle with the basic tasks of daily living and self-care? Would you love to learn how to teach her how to ride a bike, catch a ball, tie her shoes, or fold her clothing? Do you ever ask yourself, "If he can tell me everything in the universe about electric pylons/Star Wars/Pound Puppies/anime--why can't he eat appropriately, button shirts, or organize his homework?"

If you're that parent, grandparent, friend, or teacher, I'm looking for you!

I am in the process of creating a book to help parents teach children with Asperger Syndrome basic self-help and play skills. These are skills that seem so basic they are overlooked in the education and intervention kids with AS typically receive. This link will take you to the surveys on SurveyMonkey. Your responses will be completely confidential, though you do have the option of volunteering to be interviewed at a later date.

Thanks in advance for your help! And please feel free to copy, paste, and pass on these links to anyone you know who might be interested. I'm trying to post a new survey every ten days or so. You can also email me and I will add your name to a list. That way, the Surveys can be sent to you automatically as they are released. Email: patty@pattyrbashe.com.
