In Our Family When Justin was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome almost twelve years ago, it was the first time I ever heard the word. He was a five-year-old kindergartener who loved trains and music and stuffed animals. He was the most beautiful, loving, and wonderful a son anyone could wish. Many things have happened since then. And many things have changed. Now he's a seventeen-year-old high school junior who loves trains, world history, aviation, rock and roll and rhythm and blues and country, the Beatles, Hank Williams, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Black Adder, Fawlty Towers, and his Telecaster. He is the most beautiful, loving, and wonderful son anyone could wish. Some things never change.
